Alpha version - release date pushback

Hello everyone,

In my last post, I talked about the progress I made by that point as I always have but I also talked about potentially pushing the release date back due to needed bug fixes.

That day has come and I have been given the opportunity to push the release date back to 31st June instead of the original 1st of June date. This is because testing will not need to be done online and will be done at a showcase event using a custom arcade machine built by the college I am studying at.

This means that the game will release in an alpha state instead of a testing state as more of a single-player, polished experience. I hope this doesn't bring too much disappointment - but as I've said in other posts - this is the reality of game development and I'd like to release something up to my standards as an aspiring game dev.

To lighten the topic, I can now show the progress made since "Larger update - This week's progress and looking to the future" post.

Apologies for the delay but this was the best option I had, I hope you all will continue to support me even after this.
