Small update - Today's progress


Hello everyone,

To make up for my late post last time, I'm sharing all the progress I made in just one day. 

Surprisingly, I've managed to finish the game's geometry physics; I now have 3 more types of platforms outside of the basic ones. Despite all the textures being the same for now, there is functionality for ice, false and moving platforms as you traverse through the game. 


This implementation did bring some problems up about how I was originally handling the physics so I reworked that and now have a much more stable and consistent physics system. 

Now my goals are to complete the two other planned core game features to make fighting the other player a more competitive yet fun experience. 

I have also found a more than capable program that I can use to more easily make music, so more than one soundtrack for the levels may be available when the alpha launches. 

The planned due date for Slyggdrasil is fast approaching and I look forward to being able to share the first version with you all!
